I bought this second hand. It's a very unique piece and it's not signed so I'm unsure of the maker, exact age or even materials.
The dish itself is silvertone and it needs to be polished. It is not marked or signed so I'm not sure the type of metal.
The lid is beautiful. It is a thick etched glass and it has little bubbles in it which makes me believe it was hand blown, though I can't say for sure - but it looks that way to me.
The entire piece is in very good condition except for tarnishing on the plate which should hopefully come out when polished.
