Paola Navone × Egizia Pierced Floral Metal Tray
A striking designer piece by acclaimed Italian designer Paola Navone for Egizia, featuring an extraordinarily detailed pierced floral design.
The large round tray measures approximately 12" in diameter and is covered with hundreds of individually pierced openings forming an elaborate floral motif. The wide border continues the pierced decoration and has a distinctive scalloped/notched outer edge.
The combination of the reflective silver-tone surface and intricate perforations gives the tray an almost lace-like appearance.

The reverse also retains a partial original label indicating Made in India. Paola Navone is an Italian designer; this piece was designed for Italian design house Egizia and manufactured in India.
The exact metal composition is not marked. Similar Paola Navone × Egizia pieces have been produced with silver-plated finishes; however, because I cannot confirm the finish on this particular piece, it is being conservatively described as silver-tone metal with an unverified finish.
A beautiful piece for use as a serving or display tray, decorative charger, tabletop centerpiece, vanity tray, or displayed upright as an art object.
MEASUREMENTS
Approximately 12" diameter.
Good pre-owned condition with visible age and use-related wear.
There is noticeable tarnish, oxidation/discoloration and finish variation, particularly around portions of the pierced outer border, along with scratches and surface wear consistent with age and use. Please see the close-up photographs for these areas.
I have not polished or restored the metal, as I prefer to leave any cleaning or polishing to the buyer to avoid potentially affecting the original finish.
The pierced decoration remains wonderfully striking and the piece displays beautifully.
