My flower garden - original bead woven / beadwork glass and crystal one-of-a-kind wide artisan bracelet

As I make jewelry lately, I find myself gravitating to flowers - most of my recent pieces feature leaves and flowers - as if I my inner soul is coming forward and blossoming through my art.

I hope that whoever wears my pieces blossoms as well.

I made this piece using peyote stitch which I made by hand as a base. I then embellished the edges to look like crochet trim (based on my love of charming vintage fabrics and styles) and created my little flower garden front and center. The back is completely peyote stitch. I did not want to cover the back with any sort of fabric that would have hid the stitching or which would have muted the light from shining through.

It measures 6 and one-half inches long x 1 and one-half inches wide.

Size 8 milky amethyst round Japanese seed beads by Toho - with an opalescent finish

Size 11 crystal clear luster round Japanese seed beads

Size 11 opaque white AB round Japanese seed beads

12 x 7 mm gray matte flat Czech pressed glass leaf beads

Clear AB Bicone Swarovski glass crystals

4 x 10 mm pink/yellow 5 petal flower Czech pressed glass beads

Green Czech glass flowers

Size 11 Magenta lined gray round Japanese seed beads by Toho

Brass tone spacer beads

4-strand slider clasp
