I am selling a bunch of very old original magazine covers and ads. Please zoom in on the pics to see exact conditions. Some are in very good condition and others have some issues - such as slight tears mainly around the edges, slight discoloration or a mark here or there. For their age they are overall good considering they are mainly over 100 years old. They are suitable for framing and make wonderful wall decor.
Instead of describing each, I've taken good photos so that you can zoom in and see the details for yourself.
This is an original cover only of the International Studio for Collectors and Connoisseurs magazine dated January, 1927. It features an image of the oil painting "Portrait of a Lady" which was created in 1677 by artist Nicolaes Maes.
On the back is an original ad for the 1927 Chrysler Imperial 80 Sedan Automobile Motor Car.
Nicolaes Maes was a Dutch painter known for his genre scenes, portraits, religious compositions and the occasional still life. A pupil of Rembrandt in Amsterdam, he returned to work in his native city of Dordrecht for 20 years
