It measures approx. 18" x 14" x 2" tall. Lovely ornate shell form. It has lovely scroll work like a shell. The bottom reads that it is 1847 Rogers and it is called Neptune (1847 stands for the year the company started, not necessarily the year it was made, though it is very old). The initial I S is also imprinted. The I S may stand for International Silver. It has some scratches which are natural from use but it is in good overall vintage condition - please zoom in to see all photos.
It has feet on the bottom which I've tried to show and these raise it up to the 2" tall.
